I am an international development and circular economy specialist with 20+ years of experience delivering EU-funded programmes, climate finance initiatives, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder engagement across Europe, ASEAN, and the Asia-Pacific region. My work focuses on circular economy transition, climate finance, sustainable urban development, green economy initiatives, waste management, plastics governance, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), and cross-border cooperation involving governments, international organisations, development finance institutions, academia, and private sector stakeholders. My expertise spans programme management, public-private partnerships, policy dialogue, market intelligence, investment facilitation, strategic communications, and business promotion. With a multidisciplinary background combining legal practice, sustainability advisory, and regional programme implementation, I specialise in bridging policy, partnerships, and implementation to accelerate green transition initiatives and deliver long-term impact. Throughout my career, I have contributed to initiatives under organisations and programmes including the European Commission, UNEP-COBSEA, GCoM, IURC, ASEAN-related platforms, and sustainability-focused international networks. My work has involved collaboration with organisations including the World Bank, EIB, GIZ, ADB, C40, ICLEI, UN-Habitat, and EU-funded international cooperation programmes. Key achievements include facilitating climate finance access and technical assistance opportunities for city governments, managing international Communities of Practice across multiple countries, supporting EU-ASEAN cooperation projects, contributing to sustainable consumption and production (SCP) initiatives, and leading high-level stakeholder engagement across public and private sector ecosystems. My professional experience spans Southeast Asia, Europe, Oceania, and international donor ecosystems, with sector exposure across circular economy, climate adaptation, sustainable cities, green investment, marine litter and plastics governance, urban resilience, trade and investment promotion, and international cooperation. Supported global climate cooperation initiatives under Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy (GCoM Global), facilitating climate finance access, stakeholder engagement, and technical assistance opportunities for city governments across Asia-Pacific following the transition from GCoM Asia. Reported to Mr. Pier Roberto Remitti, Team Leader and Co-Managing Director at GCoM Global. The EU funding for GCoM Asia terminated in June 2024. Key Achievements ➔ Assisted 15 of 22 city governments (68%) in securing technical assistance under major climate finance initiatives including the City Climate Finance Gap Fund (World Bank, EIB-GIZ), GCoM Bankable Cities, and the Climate Adaptation Fund (MASH). ➔ Facilitated collaboration with international financing and technical partners including ADB CDIA, C40, CCFLA, FMDV, Global Infrastructure Facility, Climate Investment Funds, Mitigation Action Facility, TAP, and Nature4Water. ➔ Supported city governments in advancing climate resilience, project preparation, and sustainable urban investment opportunities. ➔ Coordinated stakeholder engagement with municipalities, development finance institutions, technical partners, and international climate organisations across Asia-Pacific. ➔ Strengthened strategic collaboration between GCoM Global and EU-funded urban cooperation initiatives supporting sustainable and climate-resilient cities.

Supported the EU co-funded GCoM Asia programme across ASEAN and Asia-Pacific countries, focusing on climate action planning, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and climate finance facilitation for city governments. Key Achievements ➔ Supported development and launch of 4 Climate Action Plans with pilot cities and technical partners. ➔ Coordinated regional capacity-building initiatives involving 247 government officers and experts from 15 countries. ➔ Assisted 12 of 22 cities (54%) in securing technical assistance from multiple climate finance facilities. ➔ Served as advisor and interlocutor between GCoM Asia, local authorities, ministries, and strategic partners including CDP, C40, ICLEI, GIZ, and UN-Habitat. ➔ Oversaw engagement across 22 cities in Malaysia with over 200 cities under GCoM Asia's initiatives to strengthen climate governance, SDG localisation, and urban resilience.

Supported EU-Asia city partnerships and circular economy initiatives under Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI) of the European Commission-funded IURC programme, focusing on sustainable urban development, knowledge exchange, and city diplomacy across Asia-Pacific. Key Achievements ➔ Coordinated city-to-city cooperation and study visits involving 13 cities across 8 countries. Supported drafting and implementation of 4 EU-Asia city MOUs involving municipalities and universities. ➔ Contributed to the development of 11 urban pilot actions focused on circular economy and sustainable urban solutions with EU and Malaysian partner cities. ➔ Assisted partner cities in securing EU Competitive Fund support for implementation of circular economy pilot initiatives. ➔ Collaborated with international experts and city stakeholders across Europe and Asia-Pacific under the Ecological Transition and Green Deal thematic network. ➔ Contributed to 28 published progress updates and knowledge-sharing stories highlighting EU-Asia city cooperation, circular economy initiatives, and sustainable urban development outcomes under the IURC programme. ➔ Completed 29/29 deliverables.
