Committed to education and possess demonstrated adaptability On the path to a career in Sustainable Landscape Architecture Currently in the process of completing the Sustainable Horticulture program at CCBC, overseen by Dr. Bradley Thompson. This program will include attaining the following: CPH, Landscape Installation, Maintenance, and Design Certificate, Basic Horticulture Technician Certificate, Greenhouse/Agricultural Production Certificate, Turf and Landscape Maintenance Certificate, as well as Associates of Applied Sciences in Sustainable Horticulture. I have earned the CBLP 1 Certification and a consistent 4.0 GPA. Native Maryland flora and sustainable gardening practices have been a personal focus for several years. I would be delighted to apply the skills I have developed in my career and ever growing knowledge to the field. It is my goal to improve the human relationship with our environment through education, community green space, and stewardship. By trade, I am a restaurant and market operations manager. About a decade of leadership experience has honed my aptitude for facilitating solutions through positive and honest communication. Working in these industries has taught me the true meanings of hard work, patience, and resilience. It trained me to maintain excellent customer service, quality of product, and respect for coworkers under a variety of difficult circumstances. As a person, I am humble in the face of new information and confident with what I have learned. When developing systems, I am focused on ensuring their longevity as well as their accessibility. Collaborating to create plans of action is usually ideal, however I am quite savvy with creative problem solving extempore. Primarily interested in creating green spaces and wildlife habitats in urban environments. Providing healthy food security and safe places for children to learn is of the utmost importance to the focus of my ideal career.
