I am a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where I work on National Security Space and Special Programs projects. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada-Reno and a Graduate Certificate in Model-Based Systems Engineering from Caltech. My core competencies include Mechanism, System, and Harness Design. I actively hold a current TS/SCI with CI polygraph clearance. In my current and previous roles at Lockheed Martin, I have contributed to the design, development, and testing of various space systems, such as FORGE Ground Systems, Space Protection Programs, and Military Support Programs. I have used my skills in Mechanism, System, and Harness Design to create and validate models, drawings, and specifications, as well as to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. I am passionate about applying my engineering knowledge and creativity to solve complex and challenging problems that have a positive impact on national security. I value innovation, excellence, and teamwork, and I seek to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the organization.
Active TS/SCI with positively adjudicated CI Polygraph Currently serving as the technical lead of a multi role, high-reliability, and low cost solution for a space vehicle dispenser. I lead a cross functional team of engineers in ensuring mission success across multiple platforms and integration with multiple mission partners. Experience leading an integrated product team of mechanical, electrical and software engineers to deliver a multifunctional dispenser in an IPU form factor while providing technical expertise in space mechanisms, maintaining cost and delivering as scheduled.

Collaborated with electrical and software engineers in multi-disciplinary design and development teams of over 15 people for the design and function of electro-mechanical hardware systems including harness design and PCBA function and layout. Led mechanical hardware design efforts including development of CAD models, finite element analysis (FEA), peer review presentations, prototyping, system tests, DFMA and documentation package release of over 5 major projects resulting in $2.5 billion of revenue. Mentored incoming team of 20 mechanical and electrical engineers in ECO writing, BOM structuring, and product lifecycle. Advised configuration management to ensure electrical, mechanical, and software components align with product specifications, compliance, and compatibility requirements for over 15,000 customer orders. Designed, qualified, tested, and prototyped 2 large-format LCD displays, 100’s of sheet metal structures, dozens of thermo-formed plastic parts, and dozens of injection-molded plastic parts. Incorporated Solidworks CAD, PDM, Enovia PLM, and SAP ERP in the design, fabrication, documentation, testing, certification, operation, and management of new and existing hardware products. Partnered with product testing and compliance to verify products against UL, GLI, IEC, FCC and internal mechanical product reliability specifications to file appropriate reports with over 100 jurisdictions. Demonstrated effective time-management and teamwork by simultaneously leading large cross-functional teams for large-scale projects and managing smaller projects and tasks independently. United with external suppliers, internal customers, and external customers to develop requirements, manage risk, pursue cost targets, track schedules and perform informal trade studies on system and subsystem integration efforts. Coordinated manufacturing by managing external suppliers, investigating product failures, performing root-cause analysis and dispositioned defective design.
