Jacobus H. Müller, MSc, PhD, specialised in knee biomechanics and computational modelling from 2010 to 2019 while lecturing in Mechanical Engineering at Stellenbosch University at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In 2019, he joined ReSurg Madrid, applying his engineering expertise to clinical study design, statistical analysis, and medical writing. His work spans systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and data-driven research, which have resulted in numerous co-authored PubMed-indexed publications on topics such as total knee arthroplasty and robot-assisted surgeries. In 2024, he co-founded ProSurg, an international Clinical Research Organization (CRO) dedicated to providing tailored clinical research solutions for medical device companies, healthcare professionals, and scientific societies, helping them navigate the complexities of clinical research with confidence.
Serving as an Extraordinary Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, contributing to postgraduate supervision and research collaboration in biomedical engineering.
Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy (KSSTA) is the official clinical journal of the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA). KSSTA consistently ranks in the top 33% of journals in Orthopedics and Sports Sciences. Our primary goal is to publish innovative research in the fields of knee surgery, sports trauma surgery and arthroscopy. Each issue features a collection of peer-reviewed articles addressing diagnosis, management and basic research. Additionally, every issue contains at least one review article on an important clinical problem.
BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that considers articles on all aspects of the prevention, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal disorders, as well as related molecular genetics, pathophysiology, and epidemiology. Studies investigating the systemic nature of rheumatic diseases, not related to specific musculoskeletal manifestations, are directed to submit to BMC Rheumatology.
