The most critical system we rely on isn't one we programmed - it's the trust that privacy and security will hold. I'm a rising junior at the University of North Georgia, double majoring in Cybersecurity and Computer Science, focused on systems, infrastructure, and secure backend development. C gave me my foundation in systems programming, and I've kept building on that with low-level tools and command-line work that sharpens how I think about computers end to end. In Java, I build backend applications and APIs - including financial tooling - to explore secure software design at the architecture level, not just the feature level. This summer, I'm interning in Business Operations for the Credit Union Segment at Fiserv, where I'm focused on workflow automation and reporting using Excel, Power Automate, and Power BI. It's given me a close look at how a large fintech organization tracks and improves its own operations at scale - the kind of organizational visibility I think matters as much as the technical systems themselves. I also teach at Code Ninjas, where I built NinjaBux, a multi-tenant reward platform with an immutable ledger, role-based access control, and JWT authentication to prevent race conditions and unauthorized access across facilities. I'm now working on expanding NinjaBux internationally so more kids and students around the world can benefit from the same engagement and progress-tracking system. Teaching there has also sharpened how I explain technical tradeoffs clearly to non-technical people - a skill I think matters as much as the engineering itself. I'm building toward technical leadership in security and engineering. Right now that means going deep on systems, backend architecture, and secure design, while getting early exposure to how technical decisions connect to business outcomes.
• Supported Business Operations initiatives focused on improving cross-department workflow visibility, reporting accuracy, and initiative tracking. • Built an end-to-end initiative tracking system in Excel to centralize department updates, automate weekly progress snapshots, and maintain a structured history log. • Used Power Automate and Power BI to improve reporting workflows, streamline data movement, and support clearer leadership visibility into initiative status. • Applied Excel, Power Automate, Power BI, and Python to solve operational process problems and reduce manual tracking effort.
• Designed and built NinjaBux, a full-stack, multi-tenant reward platform used across Code Ninjas centers to track student engagement and automate reward redemption. • Architected the system with Domain-Driven Design principles, an immutable ledger with pessimistic locking to prevent race conditions and double-spending, and multi-tier RBAC for facility-level data isolation. • Built a Java Spring Boot REST API deployed to Railway with a PostgreSQL database, and migrated the frontend from a TypeScript SPA to React for improved maintainability. • Executed a live production database migration during a student belt-level transition, preserving ledger integrity and preventing inflated point balances. • Collaborating with Code Ninjas instructors and leadership to translate engagement goals into technical features, and preparing to internationalize the platform for students in additional countries.

• Contributed to the development and improvement of advanced programming curriculum covering Godot, GDScript, game development, and software engineering concepts. • Reviewed existing curriculum modules and analyzed activities to document programming concepts, game design principles, and learning objectives. • Developed and tested lesson prototypes and technical activities to validate functionality, instructional clarity, and alignment with curriculum objectives. • Collaborated with curriculum and development teams to identify skill progression requirements, resolve content issues, and improve technical learning experiences. • Maintained structured curriculum documentation and issue tracking to support development, review, and iteration across multiple advanced curriculum modules.
• Founded and ran an independent web development studio, owning the full lifecycle — requirements, architecture, development, deployment, and support — for service-business clients including jewelsbypatty.com and rainbetvip.com. • Built and shipped production applications using Astro, TypeScript, and serverless functions, managing infrastructure and deployments across Vercel, Netlify, and Cloudflare. • Used AI-assisted development workflows to accelerate implementation while retaining direct ownership of technical decisions and releases.
Worked as a Stringer at Tennis Warehouse, delivering precise and high-quality racquet stringing services. Ensured timely completion of stringing orders while maintaining consistent accuracy. Gained experience in inventory management, tool maintenance, and customer communication to meet performance expectations. Developed key skills in problem-solving, precision work, and multitasking under pressure.
