Throughout my time at the University of Houston Graduate School, I applied my knowledge to increase lead generation by using inbound marketing techniques. The strategies used to accomplish our marketing goals have proven successful through the increase of web page visitors and the decrease of both bounce rates and exit rates throughout our domain. This has translated to a noticeable increase in applicants. My time at Baylor Athletics introduced to me the implementation of marketing strategies. I was able to fully grasp key marketing ideas and contribute to the success of Baylor Athletics' marketing goals. During this time I was handed additional responsibilities to gain management skills alongside my traditional role. At Baylor University I: • Managed and developed marketing plans for football, basketball, acrobatics & tumbling, having supervised 3-10 employees • Promoted the athletic department through social media and through the creation of brochures and graphics • Authored the “Support Baylor Athletics” column of On the Baylor Horizon • Executed on-court and on-field promotions at men’s & women’s basketball, men’s and women’s tennis, equestrian, volleyball, baseball, softball and track, and guided other promotional events • Devised events and marketing promotions such as social media night, giveaways, special recognitions, half-time performances, and in-game promotions
