The team of dedicated HR professionals advises RVO's line management. Advisors also tackle HR-wide themes such as employee wellbeing, sustainable employability, strategic personnel planning and AI.
This team is responsible for supporting the Director General (DG) and the Board of Directors of RVO. The team ensures careful decision-making and provides strategic advice from an organization-wide perspective.
As part of an internal management development trajectory, I led a finance team responsible for arranging, managing, paying and claiming national and European program funds. Annually, this amounts is approximately EUR 10 billion EUR.
Program management of the assignment ‘Climate-neutral and smart cities’. Main responsibilities: • Coordinator for the establishment of a government-wide and intergovernmental cooperation structure for the roll-out of the Horizon Europe mission ‘100 Climate Neutral and Smart Cities in Europe by 2030’. • Coordinator of a multilevel working group (Trade & Innovate NL) that is committed to connecting circular propositions with climate impact to public and private investors.
Project management of the assignment ‘Smart Cities’. The goal of the assignment is to connect innovative Smart City technologies to international sustainability issues in cities. Main responsibilities: • Strategy, coordination and organization of international innovation missions in Barcelona, New York and South Korea. Themes included mobility, circular economy (circular construction) and climate adaptation and the energy transition • Facilitation of (online) co-creation sessions for incoming and outgoing international and multilateral delegations such as the World Bank.
