Als product engineer begeleid ik complexe printplaten en antennepanelen voor radartoepassingen tijdens het productieproces. Dit start bij het beoordelen van de maakbaarheid van het design, tot het begeleiden van prototypes en het uitvoeren van testen voor proces/productoptimalisatie wat tot slot zorgt voor het industrialiseren van een serieproduct.
As a PhD researcher I worked at the Condensed Matter and Interfaces group of the Debye Institute of Nanomaterials Science. In this project I synthesized, incorporated and characterized light-emitting labels in nanomaterials for safety studies of nanomaterials embedded in consumer products.
As a research intern at the Thin film & Electronic packaging group I investigated the influence of defects in semiconductors on their performance as detector material in CT scanners.
