A short introduction... October 2, 1978, Bennekom I grew up in the forest, between the cows and cheese and I loved to work on the farm from an early age. In my twenties, I have spread my wings, I discovered my creative side and entered graphic and audiovisual design. At the moment I'm also running an Army called the WeRMe: ) There is always a project waiting for me because I'm open for something new that touches me. weRme is always evolving. It's a design-art-community project that aims to give leather from the street a new life and dignity. At weRme a discarded leather sofa (another dumped cow) becomes the perfect shoulder bag, bumbag and handbag in one. But weRme is not only about designer bags. In fact, the bags are just the messengers with individual stories. Don't shoot the messenger!
Besides my free work I make films, music videos and graphic designs for institutions and companies. I am a visual storyteller and I like to involve the customer in the process of creation. Almere Jungle is part of Nieuwland Werk Taal en Zorg on Stadslandgoed de Kemphaan. Nieuwland Werk Taal Zorg is a nationally recognized healthcare institution. Our aim is to offer meaningful daytime activities for adults and children with a mental, physical or psychological disability (and / or combination).
Roads is working in the mental health field. We are there for people with a psychiatric disorder, psychosocial problems and / or addiction who need support in finding work, education and daily activities.
As a freelance filmmaker, I participated at the audio visual installation called ‘Obedience’ made by the multimedia artist Saskia Boddeke and British film director Peter Greenaway. My contribution consisted filming and editing a part of the installation and editing an internet teaser. Beside this I worked as a graphic designer with Peter Greenaway and accomplished a paper back catalog of 92 pages which is gepublished by Kerber Verlag, Bieleveld (DE). At the moment I'm working on a new catalogue with Peter Greenaway and there will be more.
