I am a MB/PhD student at the University of Cambridge, a programme combining Medicine with a PhD in medical research. Having completed 4 years of my medicine course: - I am currently undertaking the first year of my Immunology PhD, in the Kozik Group at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) - I also hold a Double First BA in Natural Sciences, specialising in Pathology (Cantab.).
Supervisor of second-year medicine students in Biology of Disease (BOD) course: - Supervising weekly small groups in general principles of pathology, including: immunology, virology, bacteriology, parasitology, vascular disorders, neoplasia & emerging diseases
Supervisor of first-year medicine students in Molecules In Medical Science (MIMS) course: - Leading weekly supervisions of small groups in biochemistry and medical genetics - Responsible for creating supervision material, assisting in exam prep & marking assignments - particularly essays
Leading university-wide outreach & advice on the MB/PhD programme: - Jan '26: organised & hosted the annual MB/PhD Information Evening with the Programme Director. Facilitated peer-to-peer discussions on the benefits, demands & reality of the integrated pathway.
