As Procurement cum Material Control, Logistics Manager , I Source the required material by actively gathering the requirements, issuing requisitions, and networking with cost-effective suppliers for purchasing within the stipulated time and acceptable quality specifications. I also develop and implement the procurement strategies based on market research that deliver a competitive advantage and drive the strategic supplier initiatives. As Material Controller, I Served as material controller for the Gas Oil Separation Plant project with Petroleum Development of Oman (P.D.O). I also handled inventory and storage operations at P.D.O.'s Central Stores, overseeing material logistics and maintaining records. I managed material receipt and distribution for EPC projects, responsible for the LAN-based inventory system (Novel 4.11).
