As Procurement cum Material Control, Logistics Manager , I Source the required material by actively gathering the requirements, issuing requisitions, and networking with cost-effective suppliers for purchasing within the stipulated time and acceptable quality specifications. I also develop and implement the procurement strategies based on market research that deliver a competitive advantage and drive the strategic supplier initiatives. In my present capacity, I am accountable for Oversee materials handling, logistics, quality control, and vendor relationships to streamline operations. I also plan and coordinate the project activities, schedule timelines, forecast budgets, and establish contingency measures. I ensure that all procured materials meet quality standards and comply with relevant laws and regulations. I created piping specifications, material classes, valve selections, and material requisitions at Foster Wheeler. I estimated material procurement, coordinated site activities, reported progress, and monitored daily activity. My other job duties include: Conducted productivity and Earned Value Management assessments, analysed project delays, and produced recovery plans. Coordinated subcontractors, coordinated workforce and materials, and allocated tasks to staff. Coordinated with clients and site engineers to prioritise material allocation strategies. Estimated materials and personnel resources needed for the Scope of Work (SOW). I created isometric drawings, calculated MTO from GAD, and coordinated with clients for materials. As Material Controller, I Served as material controller for the Gas Oil Separation Plant project with Petroleum Development of Oman (P.D.O). I also handled inventory and storage operations at P.D.O.'s Central Stores, overseeing material logistics and maintaining records. I managed material receipt and distribution for EPC projects, responsible for the LAN-based inventory system (Novel 4.11).
