I am a Chartered Accountant by Profession who joined Alghanim Industries in 1991 as a Financial Analyst, served the organisation across multiple businesses in various positions,the last being as the Financial controller of the Automotive group, before I retired in March-2016. Now I serve Alghanim Industries as a Consultant for a new project and the contract is until Oct-2016. My wife is Rani Jacob an engineer by profession. We are blessed with two children John and Jeco. John is a doctor and is serving San Jose hospital as a Consultant physician after completing his MD in general medicine. Jeco is a third year undergraduate student in medicine at Fr. Muller's College in Mangalore.
I joined Alghanim Industries as a Financial Analyst, and over the pat 23 years got promoted as Senior Financial Analyst, Manager Accounts and Control, Finance Manager & finally as Controller. In these positions I have worked with the following business units - Xerox, Audio visual security, Voice communication, Insurance, Financial services division that houses an Investment Co, Consumer finance and Central Trade Credit Services. Currently I work as Controller of the Automotive division that house the General Motors and Honda agencies within the Alghanim umbrella. In hindsight I feel the career at Alghanim was highly satisfying and rewarding. We keep learning from the peers, one gets the opportunity to work across multiple businesses and the business insight and exposure you get from the presentation to owners - all helps you to gain in confidence, which in turn helps you to grow when an opportunity arises. I would strongly advise young professionals to join Alghanim Industries; but remember you would also need patience and perseverance to succeed and build a career. Hard work and commitment do not go unnoticed at Alghanim. I retired in March-2016 and now continue to serve Alghanim Industries in the position of a Consultant for a new project. My current contract is until Oct-2016.
