Managed Team of Supply Chain Professionals, including Procurement, Scheduling, Logistics, and Inventory Management. Established and Maintained performance metrics for all Supply Chain activities, including supplier performance, buyer activity levels, financial (AP) performance (ie PPV initiatives) and material (inventory) status. Established and reported out on corrective actions developed for improvement activities designed to meet or exceed KPI's. Negotiated and executed vendor contracts as required. Implemented commodity strategies to drive significant P&L benefit. Championed a global enterprise activity, relative to the sourcing process, to drive cost out of the supply chain through negotiation strategies, supplier selection/de-selection, VMI programs, and P4EP. Established and implemented Supplier Risk Mitigation strategy to ensure supply continuity. Provided commodity leadership during program development, and developed tools to support Sales realize new business opportunities and maximize margin.
Managed Sourcing and Purchasing team for North America, Engines Division as well as Global Commodities, including Corporate team and 4 domestic manufacturing facilities. Championed cost savings initiatives, through assigned categories, with team members. Worked in alignment with Engineering and all other cross-functional departments for all New Product Development (NPD) activities. Established forecasts for spend, savings, and commodity forecasting with Corporate Controller. Managed Quality Certification activities for department. Established and Maintained Procedures/Guidelines for daily activities, new hire training, and supplier on-boarding.
