About

With a strong academic foundation in psychology, I hold a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University and a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Northern Kentucky University. Currently, I serve as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at American Commercial Barge Line, headquartered in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Prior to that I was a Human Resource and Recruiting Generalist with ACBL. My role involves leading corporate recruiting efforts, developing and implementing recruitment strategies for our Vessel Operations team, and designing targeted social media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Handshake. I am also responsible for full-cycle recruiting for corporate positions, managing our applicant tracking systems (UKG/Ultipro and LinkedIn Recruiter), and driving employee engagement initiatives through survey implementation. My prior experience includes roles such as HR Intern and HRIS Specialist at Kings Island Amusement Park and HR Generalist/Corporate Recruiter at Medpace, a Clinical Research Organization in Cincinnati, OH. During my time as the recruitment chairman for my fraternity, Kappa Sigma, I successfully increased membership by 25 new members each year for three consecutive years. These experiences, coupled with my academic background, have honed my ability to align organizational goals with effective human resource strategies.
