Recent graduate of ASU with my Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering with an emphasis on aeronautics. Completed capstone studying commercial hyper-sonic applications whilst working full time as manufacturing engineer. LEAN green belt certified through the Arizona MEP Commerce Authority with strong skills in 3D modeling and tangible applications of design and production optimization. HAM Radio Technician (KG5IGS) and a Level 3 certified High Power Rocketeer.
Individually responsible for development and implementation of small batch production processes for aerospace manufacturing in a timely and cost-effective manner. Work face to face with machinists, welders, and assemblers understanding every step of the re-creation of a widely diverse array of parts to meet and exceed ANSI, AS9100, and OEM requirements. Safety Officer responsible for assuring in-house pressure testing is performed safely and to manufacturers standards.
Sole engineer in charge of control of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with engineering, regulatory, and customer requirements. Managed continuous improvement projects and productivity initiatives. Identified cost savings and productivity opportunities with savings exceeding 1 million dollars. Troubleshoot equipment issues and aid in onsite rapid repairs.
Create and maintain method operation sheets to improve upon quality, clarity of assembly, and productivity. Assist engineers in continuous improvement projects. Operate as in-house machinist for tooling prototyping and resurfacing.
Assist machinists and assemblymen in optimization of processes through the use of CAD modeling, simulation, and production of various tools and systems. Optimized many assembly and testing processes to take only a fraction of the time with an increase in production reliability.
Simulate and model the stability, strength, and tolerance for high powered rockets. Educate others on equations, programs, and new technology.
