Dedicated professional with international experience in and with policy organisations, operations and events management, with a passion for problem-solving and troubleshooting at the cross-section between programmatic and operational work. Skilled in advanced operational support with a focus on socially inclusive climate policy, continuous learning, strong communication and community.
Responsible for the administration and animation of the ECF International Group, the Trade Programme, the 2050 Pathways Platform, and the Diplomacy Programme (latter until March 2024), with a view to ensure they are aligned with and supportive of the ECF’s wider programmatic objectives and evolve alongside priorities and scope. Working in close cooperation with the Executive Director of the International Group and the Director of the Trade Programme and 2050 Pathways Platform. Responsibilities including management support, team support and coordination, event management support, and research and writing tasks. From late 2021 to June 2023, I convened and moderated monthly webinars on diverse issues intersecting with climate change, including policymaking processes, human rights and labour rights.
Administrative Assistant supporting the Executive Director of the 2050 Pathways Platform, the Platform Secretariat and the European Climate Foundation Executive Director of International Affairs. Key responsibilities: Management support • Supporting the development, maintenance and tracking of overall project delivery plans, timeline and action plans, under the direction of the Executive Director • Organising calls and meetings with members of 2050 Pathways Platform, grantees, partner organisations, funders and other stakeholders • Providing administrative support to the Executive Directors, in particular on diary management, travel bookings and expense claims Team Support and Coordination • Information management for the team: ensuring team members keep up-to-date centralised notes and files, using Sharepoint, One Note and Microsoft Teams • Supporting team members in other outreach and coordination • Organising quarterly in-person team retreat Event Management Support • Organising and managing logistics, for country visits, meetings and conferences • Leading event planning process and coordination for annual meeting and in-country and regional workshops Other • Liaising with ECF back-office on IT, finance administration, trainings, staff retreat and others • Supporting the team to adhere to ECF guidelines and procedures on all operational matters
Tasks within two main administrative fields: Residential Life and Student Life. Residential Life: • budgeting and planning events for students in the community • working directly with the security and facility management teams in the Student Residence on safety and maintenance issues • liaising between the NYU Berlin Operations team, the students, and the facility management / security teams by relaying information in both German and English. Student Life: • assisting students with registering in Berlin and obtaining visas • introducing students to the various communities in Berlin • accompanying them on educational trips throughout Berlin and Germany more widely • producing and editing student communications, (newsletter contributions, social media posts on highlight opportunities for cultural life in the city)
Temporary constituency assistant in the office of Liz Twist MP in Blaydon: • Answering telephone enquiries from constituents and third parties • Processing incoming casework from email correspondence • Gathering and processing information associated with casework • Data processing and input
