I am a STEM faculty member at Fellowship Christian School. I've taught AP Computer Science, Intro to Computer Science, Web Programming and Senior Capstone Project and am launching 'Digital Entrepreneurship' for 2026-27, a 'vibe-coding' class teaching students creative problem solving with digital solutions. Through my company, School House Partners, I develop and deploy practical AI-powered solutions that enhance student engagement and teacher effectiveness, including LetterWise.us, Buswise.net, SchoolHouseIncentives.com, and SchoolHouseRewards.net. Many of these tools began as class projects, giving students authentic experience turning ideas into production applications. With 30 years in engineering and sales at IBM, I transitioned to teaching high school STEM and Computer Science at a leading private school in Roswell, GA. There, I discovered the transformative power of AI tools (like Cursor, Lovable, and ChatGPT) for "vibe coding"—enabling rapid app development through natural language prompts rather than traditional coding languages. My students and I have built and launched functional web apps addressing school-specific needs, including a bus transportation management solution, a private video platform for student projects, and incentive tools now supporting multiple schools. These experiences inform my new "Digital Entrepreneurship" and "Digital Startup" courses, where students use AI to identify problems, define requirements, and launch real ventures.
