I am interested in exploring healing, feminism and social struggle; challenging self and others for personal and social transformation. I am inspired by youth and the world-wide struggle for autonomy and self-determination of Indigenous Peoples. My experience is in program coordination and management, youth and adult education program design and facilitation, community and international development, corporate accountability, human rights and justice, strategic research and writing, outreach and communications, community organizing and mobilizing, advocacy and campaigning. I believe we must take care of our spirit, mind and body - and each other - in the struggle for justice.
Offered direct support to migrant workers in Nova Scotia to access benefits and resources. Provided accompaniment in emergency situations. Participated in outreach and communications to help make the province a safer and more inclusive place for migrant workers in our communities.
Reasearch, write and edit technical reports, news articles, funding proposals, strategic communications and advocacy plans; language and cultural interpretation, all serving universities, non-profits, unions, churches, foundations, legal firms and media outlets.
