As part of the Compliance Team, my role includes the managing, co-ordinating and monitoring of all Delegated Authorities, which includes Conduct Risk, Audit Planning and be the conduit for all parties.
As part of the Risk & Governance Team we regularly review and look to agree consistence approaches in regard to Regulatory requirements, controls and processes across the whole of Pen. Along with the evaluation of various procedures with oversight of Sanctions, Complaints, Risk Events, ELTO, Due Diligence and Conduct Risk. Additionally undertake regular meetings with Carriers and Coverholders to collate and standardise reporting to ensure cohesive processes are followed.
My role included managing, controlling and monitoring Delegated Authorities and TOBAs across the business. I also managed a number of operational functions which included administering the groups Bank accounts, website and credit check application and in addition would review and sign-off both system and code changes in regards to Underwriting & Claims system Sanctions and ELTO monitoring was also within my remit along with being the main point of contact for the outsourced compliance function and BCP. I was also involved in monitoring and controlling the starter and leaver process as well as End User Applications as part of the quarterly SOX audit.
