• Designed big data 3D geospatial visualizations with AR for internal and external use • Learned the Mapbox API, AWS S3 + EC2, and MongoDB • Analyzed data to improve hardware and develop new algorithms
- Led development of vehicle-mounted stereo camera imaging product for use in apple orchards. - Iterated over 15 prototypes through various stages of CAD, 3D printing, and commercial SLS printing. - Contacted many suppliers, organized and created purchase orders, managed project budget.
• Created and led a research team to advance the crew/rowing data analytics industry. • Over the course of a year, developed a product that could be mounted on a crew shell and capture data throughout a rowing workout. • Achieved genuine advancements in the rowing data analytics industry and presented research to a school-wide symposium.
Led a sub-team of Project Caelus, a fully student-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization aiming to design, build, and fly the world's first high-school-built suborbital liquid rocket. Led a subset of the propulsion team to develop testing infrastructure for a liquid fueled rocket engine. Researched engine mounting, P&ID pressurization system, plumbing stand mounting, extensive safety procedures, as well as the engine itself. Worked on timeline, organizing testing dates, and reaching out to college teams and aerospace companies for advice.
Learned how to use OBS and conduct a livestream in less than 24 hours. Successfully broadcast team engine tests, learned how to best keep audiences engaged, and learned about modern broadcasting infrastructure. Coded javascript plugins to play music, shuffle promo videos, and manage donations.
Worked on the plumbing systems and test stand for a 2.5 kN ethanol / nitrous oxide rocket engine. Extensively researched commercial parts and chemical compatibility while creating engine injector and nozzle CAD models. Manufactured, assembled, and leak-tested components on the test stand.
