First-year postdoctoral research associate in theoretical chemical physics at the Department of Physics, Rutgers University-Newark. I am supervised by Prof. Neepa T. Maitra. I completed my PhD studies in theoretical and computational chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, Durham University and was visiting research student at the Centre for Computational Chemsitry, School of Chemistry, University of Bristol. I was co-supervised (50/50) by Prof. David J. Tozer (Durham University) and Prof. Basile F. E. Curchod (University of Bristol). Research interests: Electronic-structure theory, electron correlation, density-functional-based approaches, excited electronic states, nonadiabatic processes, photochemistry and photophysics, features of potential energy surfaces: conical intersections, avoided crossings, transition states.

An eight week summer research placement with Prof. Basile Curchod in the In Silico Photochemistry Group. Project title: "Investigation of the photochemistry of the transient volatile organic molecule 2-hydroperoxypropanal". I also attended the E-CAM Workshop in Quantum Dynamics 2019 organised at Durham University before my placement (Mon 8th July 2019 to Fri 19th July 2019). I received a stipend in the form of the Durham University Chemistry Departmental Bursary to carry out the summer research placement. The bursary was awarded on a competitive basis with applicants having to show an excellent academic record and very strong research potential.
