Hello my name is Jack. I have a degree in business and management as well as a wealth of real life experience in multiple industries and positions. I have worked at Lush for 4 years when I was 16-20 years old. This role was as a sales assistant with a focus on communication. I really learnt a whole host of information about how to interact with colleagues and customers with Lush’s well known top customer service. I also spent 2 years as a Team Leader at The Co-operative. This was after acquiring my degree from Bournemouth University and an opportunity to put my theory into practice. Once again a lot was discovered as I wove through the day to day activities of fast pace retail. This helped me hone my craft and develop my love for working as the lead of a team to align business goals and action. I then moved to Parker’s foodservice as a warehouse operative. This only lasted around six months as I was promoted to stock management specialist. This meant I was in charge of taking in new stock, ensuring current stocks are accurate and date checking to ensure stock hasn’t reached its best before. This was also a role I held for around a year before rapidly being promoted again to warehouse manager. This leaves me in charge of day to day operations and a small team during the day. I also am involved in frequent meetings on how to help the business achieve their long term success.
