Jack joined the Royal Marines Band Service in 2012, learning the Trombone and Bass Trombone from scratch under expert teaching of Paul Farmer and Gordon Campbell. He has been performing at the highest musical level since then. He took over as Head of Sound for RMBS Plymouth in 2020 and has since completed his Diploma in Mixing and Mastering. 2023 allowed Jack to take control of Front of House Tech for the “Oceanaires” big band. The premier Big Band of the RMBS and led into 2024 where Jack led the Tech team for the Beating Retreat 2024 rehearsals. He is currently looking to move on from the Military in 2025.
