Jack Kelly is a Market Access Department leader with over 35 years of national-level experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, specializing in Managed Markets, Trade, and strategic account development for specialty pharmaceutical commercialization and product launches. I have a pharmacy degree which has given me a unique perspective and advantage in understanding the needs and challenges of the healthcare system and our patients. Previously, I was the Sr. National Director of Market Access and Strategic Accounts at Azurity Pharmaceuticals, which acquired Arbor Pharmaceuticals, where I led a team of professionals and managed the CNS, cardiovascular, 505(B)(2), and rare orphan disease product portfolios across Market Access business segments. I established and maintained strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in the industry, and supported the launch and growth of new products and programs. I delivered value-added solutions and services to customers and patients, and improved health outcomes and access to innovative therapies through collaboration and partnership. My goal is to leverage my expertise and network to help biopharmaceutical companies achieve their strategic objectives and optimize their gross-to-net performance.
Independent biopharmaceutical industry consultant with a focus on Market Access and Strategic Account leadership for specialty pharmaceutical commercialization including product launches.
Led the development and execution of U.S. market access strategies for the launch of a challenging branded 505(b)2 Alzheimer’s disease therapy in an all-generic category. This role was responsible for ensuring optimal patient access, reimbursement, and value recognition across payers, wholesalers, providers, and long term care facilities while securing equitable contract negotiations with the 3 major PBMs and achieving a 110% Gross-to-Net Sales Goal attainment during its first year on the market. I successfully operated at the intersection of pricing, policy, evidence generation, and stakeholder engagement, addressing the unique challenges associated with Alzheimer’s treatments, including strict access barriers due to a lack of data and limted volume driven by a small sales force, site-of-care constraints, and resultant keen payer scrutiny.
