      Led project to improve the forecasting capabilities of the product team through Machine Learning. The data gathering was performed using SQL and several Python models (From Linear Regression up to advanced Gradient Boosting) were built and tested for a balance of intrepretability and accuracy. The MVP model reduced forecasting error by half. Following successful early sprints I used the additional resources allocated to increase model coverage and reliability, deployed the model within the Google Cloud Platform and began the initial build of the frontend. Had the opportunity to present the results and process across the wider UK Data team, Global counterparts and executive committee. Project received wide acclaim across the business as one of the top deliveries from the UK Data Science team. Heavily involved in starting the teams first student Data Science placement scheme. This included the design of the program, the selection process and the mentoring of the students.

      Pricing analyst for the HSBC secured lending portfolio. This included modelling product performance, managing pricing changes and presenting recommendations to senior managers. Rebuilt the pricing income scenario model, significantly reducing manual updating time from 2 days to 2 hours, improved accuracy and increased functionality. Lead the launch and design of the HSBC 10 year fixed rate product, producing c.£25m in weekly sales. This required both extensive project management skills and forecasting of a range of funding and credit scenarios. Identified fees which significantly reduced conversion, lead on the removal and delivered a 15% uplift in sales for the product.
