Off-Cycle Internship • Based in the Leveraged Debt Capital Markets team, however had exposure to areas of compliance, credit risk management and sales; where I would attend regular meetings, as well as reviewing various debt structuring and different strategies to use with particular clients. • Attended annual Deutsche bank LDCM conference, where I personally experienced organisations present their debt restructuring plans whom were exposed to investors: this being crucial in the competitive landscape we are currently in. • Spending time in the sales department, acclimatising to the high pressured, fast pace environment of a trading floor. Attending daily meetings, discussing up and coming deals, putting in place strategic sale strategies for investors.
Work Experience (1 week) • Broad overview of the bank and its functions, experiencing both front and middle office areas of the bank, as well as the operations side at Credit Suisse. • Analyzing in detail various confidential information within the bank, and working within a team to dissect and discuss thoughts. • Interact within groups and individually with other members of the bank through tasks set by based departments.
