OpenLink specializes in providing a customized trading platform for medium to large sized institutions. The core product is a fully integrated, front through back-office solution for cross-asset trading, risk management and operations processing for the financial and energy markets. Since joining OpenLink, I have been part of the OpenComponents team whose primary objective is to create APIs that allow users/clients to interact with Endur/Findur. My responsibilities include: - Designing and implementing the client API by identifying valid business objects. - Interacting with users/clients and extracting business requirements. - Providing documentation and support for clients globally in US, Europe, South America, and Asia, including maintaining wiki, blog, and internet forums as well as direct correspondence and web conferences. - Maintaining and adding to a comprehensive suite of regression tests. The SIBT campus is located next to Macquarie University and offers bridging courses that allows students an alternative pathway into Macquarie University undergraduate degrees. SIBT Diploma courses are equivalent to Macquarie University's first year bachelor degree. My responsibilities include: - Teaching 6 to 8 ACST (Techniques and Elements of Finance) tutorials per week. - Coming up with additional tutorial material to better reinforce the concepts already taught. - Adapting teaching style to cater for international students.
