In 2016, 2021 and 2024 I was elected as a Councillor representing Sutherland Shire Council, a large metropolitan Council in southern Sydney with over 230,000 residents, an annual budget of $300m+ and assets of over $4bn. In October 2024 I was elected as Mayor of the Sutherland Shire for 2024-2026. Currently employed as a Manager at Cyber Security NSW, I oversee a diverse team responsible for the delivery of cyber security awareness training, communications, workforce development initiatives, and incident response exercises to uplift the cyber capabilities, and improve the resilience of, NSW Government. In my previous capacity as a Solicitor I acted as defence and coverage counsel in claims against Directors and Officers (with a focus on financial institutions) as well as gaining significant experience in the emerging field of Cyber Risk insurance.
