The Vice President of Information Technology is an executive and a member of the Senior Leadership Group responsible for the operational functions of the Information Technology department and participates with the CIO in the strategic planning of Information Technology. The role is responsible for the execution of the following: Information Technology Strategic Plan, IT Architecture strategy and tactical plans, IT operations and prioritization, technology evaluation and acquisition, application portfolio plan and development, help desk and customer service, information integrity and security, medical informatics and clinical use of data, operating and capital budget development and management, IT education, IT telecommunications and networking, IT hardware and peripherals, all software acquisition and licensing coordinates the planning and implementation of information technology projects, allocation and scheduling of resources, internal and external communications, development and deployment of internal processes, and the development of the I.T. resources needed to carry out these tasks.

Duties include, managing workloads of 7 team members, organizing and completing internal projects essential to the success of the Philips Xtenity project and working closely with Epic counter parts for the research and development of Xtenity Ambulatory.
