I am a knowledgeable healthcare professional (ED nurse and medical doctor) with experience in emergency & urgent care and providing event medical care, though a variety of voluntary organisations and by working in the East of England's busiest ED. I am also a strong advocate for children's health, wellbeing, growth and education, demonstrated through my volunteering and pro bono activities. My clinical/practice interests include: Resuscitation, Clinical Education and Audit, Risk Management & Governance. I am also really keen to encourage people: school leavers or established workers thinking of a career change, to peruse a career as a healthcare professional, whichever role that may be. I am always happy to talk at schools and colleges about my various roles and routes into professions!

Associate Tutor in the Faculty of Health & Medicine (FHM) - Teaching BSc nursing and paramedic science students in adult and paediatric advanced life support, newborn life support and emergency care and examining life support and acute care summative course examinations / OSCEs; as well as instructing on university run ILS, ALS & PILS courses for external professional candidates. OSCE Assessor & occasional guest lecturer in Norwich Medical School for MBBS (medicine) and MSc Physician Associate students. Examining communication, examination, procedural and prescribing skills and clinical data interpretation and lecturing on study skills and preparation of UK MLA exam.
