Van Ness Law Firm is a South Florida law firm located in Deerfield Beach and Miami with roots representing the loan servicing industry handling Residential/Commercial Foreclosures, creditor-side Bankruptcy, REO Eviction and related litigation. The firm also handles PACA cases, Sports Law/Agency, appeals, corporate litigation & contract disputes. Prior to creating Van Ness Law Firm in 2004, Mr. Van Ness previously held positions on both the servicing side and vendor attorney side of the default industry. He began his career at Ocwen Federal Bank, FSB ("Ocwen") in the Foreclosure Dept. later accepting positions in the REO Dept. of Ocwen and in management at Interbay Funding, LLC n/k/a Bayview Loan Servicing. He left Bayview in 2002 to become an Associate at Rutherford, Mulhall and Wargo, PA and later Vargas, Zion & Kahane, PA. He would gain valuable experience in handling title, foreclosures, bankruptcy, closings and other related areas. Van Ness Law Firm was opened in July 2004 along with his wife Antonella with clients such as Fremont Investment & Loan, Ocwen Federal Bank FSB and Bayview Loan Servicing. In 2007, the firm moved from Hollywood to Deerfield Beach. In 2010, Van Ness Law Firm began representing Bank of America and became Fannie Mae retained counsel. In January 2016 we opened our beautiful Miami location at 66 West Flagler directly across from the Circuit Civil courthouse.
