With a focus on ISO 14001-certified Environmental Management Systems, I contribute to crafting, reviewing and executing comprehensive plans, including CEMPs, environmental permits and sustainability frameworks. As a Project Management Consultant (PMC), I am responsible for overseeing various projects. My duties include ensuring compliance with contract requirements, adhering to regional project plans and national regulations, and following Client Procedures/Codes of Practice. Effective communication with team members, which includes construction staff, project staff, design staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, is paramount in achieving project goals and deliverables. I offer technical expertise to address client and project requirements and maintain a high level of awareness regarding environmental and sustainable best practices, including national, international, and local guidance/procedures. Regardless of site work, I am committed to the safety and well-being of all individuals. Additionally, I prepare environmental and sustainability inspection reports, review contractor documents, such as monitoring plans and CESMPs, and assist Contractors in establishing criteria, evaluating compliance, and developing corrective measures to improve environmental performance in all areas of the work scope. I continually seek to improve existing environmental compliance and awareness programs and practices, aiming to innovate new solutions.
Maintain all documents as per Environmental Management System ISO-14001:2015. Developing, reviewing and updating Construction Environment Management Plan (CEMP); for Construction Projects in accordance with legal and client requirement. Liaise with utilities providers and other internal and external stake holders on environmental Parameters. Preparation of Environmental Permit Applications (PEP, L&DP and C&SP etc.) and Maintaining Environmental Permit Log. Manage and review multi-disciplinary project inputs critically access the application of Sustainable design criteria, check plans and specifications for accuracy of design and completeness. Provide environmental Sustainable guidance and advice to the project design team. Prepare and review Environmental Baseline Aspect and Impact Assessment. Lead external and internal coordination pertinent to sewerage, surface & ground water design and construction to the project on Sustainable design. Develop environmental project objectives and targets in line with the project vision and report to management. Responsible for updating and sending out the environmental statistics, KPI’s & resource consumption and waste tracking reports to Client on monthly basis. Coordinate with HSE/Project Manager for the effective implementation of Environmental Section of the company’s Environmental Management and Sustainable Development System in the Project. Preparation of Project specific Environmental Aspect and Impact registers. Preparation of Monthly inspections and Quarterly EMS Audit Closeout report. Prepare weekly and monthly environmental reports; Attend Monthly Environmental Meetings and Forums. Responsible for the correct implementation of the CEMP. Act as main focal point contact with the SC & PMC to ensure incorporation of all data, information needed. Monitor environmental performance and tracking non-conformances to ensure proper closure.
