In this role, I am responsible for design, selection/qualification, specification and implementation of primary packaging materials, container closure systems and delivery systems for both drug substance and drug products within R&D and commercial teams in a global setting. I support global regulatory filings. Successful commercial filings I supported: Tryvio, Rilpiverine Pediatric I have lead the packaging and device "design for sustainability" team, a collaboration between the Janssen Primary Container & Device team and the Janssen Packaging and Device Supply Chain team. Currently, I am the subject matter expert on sustainability for the global drug delivery systems team.
In this role, I provide leadership and technical expertise in the design, selection, qualification and implementation of critical packaging materials, container closure systems and delivery systems for both drug substance (API) and drug products within R&D and commercial teams in a global setting. I also maintain primary packaging specifications and author pertinent sections of worldwide regulatory filings. • Management of the Mars Ambassador Program (MAP), the international corporate volunteering program of Mars Incorporated. Each program cycle consists of assignment selection, stakeholder communications, ambassador selection, ambassador preparation and after assignment follow up with ambassadors, line managers and partner organizations. • Management and governance of the Mars Volunteer Program (MVP), the local corporate volunteering program of Mars Incorporated. I was responsible for the roll-out of the MVP with support of the Corporate Affairs function, I was the first point of contact of site champions, I gathered all the impact data of all events for end-of-year reporting to the Corporate Affairs Leadership Team. In this position I was responsible for continuous control of quality of the sterilisation / pasteurisation process at Tops Foods.
