Companies don’t fall behind because they lack talent or ambition. They fall behind when they lose momentum and clarity, and that’s usually the moment when a more entrepreneurial approach is needed to get things moving again. That belief has guided me throughout my career. I’ve always been drawn to the moments when direction needs to be sharpened, when the path forward isn’t immediately obvious, or when a team needs renewed energy to move with confidence again. Progress creates possibility, and I enjoy helping organisations rediscover that sense of movement. My journey has taken me across very different industries. At easyJet, I helped open and grow new markets when low-cost aviation was still considered a risky experiment. I built the first subscription-based movie rental service in the Netherlands long before the model became mainstream. At UPC and Ziggo, I supported major commercial and product innovations, including the launch of the Horizon platform. At FOX Sports, I strengthened the entire partner ecosystem to accelerate growth. At FCR Media and Youvia (both former Yellow Pages companies), I contributed to the digital transformation of tens of thousands of SMB customers. And most recently at Ziggo Sport, I built a complete B2B sports rights organisation from scratch — the team, the processes, the commercial structure, the strategy. No matter the industry or assignment, the common thread has always been the work itself: bringing clarity to complexity, creating direction that people can act on, and building the momentum that allows organisations to move more confidently. I prefer staying close to the teams doing the work. I like simplifying what feels overwhelming and turning it into something everyone understands. And I thrive in moments where speed, alignment and decisive action are essential. Today, I work with organisations that are growing, transforming or preparing for an important next step. Some need alignment, others need sharper commercial focus, others simply need movement again. Whether I join in a permanent role, an interim position or a fractional capacity, my goal is consistent: to help the company move forward with purpose, strengthen its commercial engine and leave behind something that continues to grow long after my involvement. End-to-end setup of the Ziggo Sport Business B2B unit, covering sports rights, public viewing licensing, commercial strategy, marketing, partnerships, compliance and governance. Designed the organisational structure, built the team, established processes and created a robust legal and compliance framework. Defined and executed the licensing, partner and enforcement strategy, led complex commercial and legal cases and opened new revenue streams across hospitality, leisure, sports, education and corporate markets. Close collaboration across legal, finance, sales, marketing and executive leadership delivered a scalable foundation with clear ownership and momentum for long-term B2B growth.
