Although Ivan Affandi has never been far from business development activities being a project manager; he is now focusing more and more in business development. He works for an Indonesian pioneering enterprise in water, waste water, renewable energy and (nuclear) low-level energy. Recently he led the company to develop project portfolio in renewable energy segment (waste to energy) through Royal Dannish Embassy contracts in Central Java. Besides guiding the project execution and proposal team, he is also accountable for the company market position & development, new businesses, partnership and P/L. Ivan involved in the re-structuring & re-engineering of the company to be more focus and bold in the water & energy (nuclear for non-electricity and renewable) businesses. Ivan has a solid 28-year professional exposure of international experience at both technical & senior managerial positions. He has strong project & contract management skills developed from EPC turnkey, BOT, ROT/retrofit & BOO/DPS projects on industrial waste water, municipal drinking & industrial water treatment facilities. He involves in most aspects of project execution since proposals preparation, engineering (FEED and DED), procurement, construction, commissioning, start up and hand over. He is very conversant in managing & integrating seamlessly various engineering disciplines (process, civil, mechanical, E/I/C). He is characterized by a unique blend of technical & people skills. He has the ability to think quickly in assimilating persuasive arguments & synthesizing blocks of facts & thoughts. Ivan has a natural magnetism toward finding paths around obstacles.
