I’m a detail-oriented recent graduate specialised in the end-to-end drug development process, with a focus on regulatory affairs, clinical trial management, and pharmaceutical business strategy. I recently completed my MSc in Drug Discovery and Pharma Management (Distinction, Dean's List) at UCL, building on a strong academic foundation in Biomedical Sciences (Dean’s List, First Class Honours) and practical experience across research, sales, and business development in both biotech and pharma. My research background spans tumour immunology, protein transport, and structural biology, including an awarded placement at UCL funded by the Biochemical Society. Most recently, I conducted my Master’s thesis in collaboration with Pending AI, developing a framework to evaluate early drug discovery targets by integrating structural quality, feasibility, and strategic value into risk-adjusted financial models. Currently, I am a medical representative at the medical devices sales department at Alkaloid Kons, specialising in Medtronic diabetes and interventional cardiology portfolios.
Alkaloid KONS Sales and marketing of medical devices | Medtronic diabetes and cardiovascular products
• Developed a high-throughput Excel system for scientific and commercial assessment of drug targets. • Conducted secondary market research and competitive intelligence analysis for 20+ targets. • Validated the viability of one drug target, influencing the company's drug development and commercial strategy. • Interpreted regulatory success data to support rNPV financial modelling, informing a provisional out-licensing deal.
• Collaborated with 2 sales representatives in clinical wholesale and marketing of drugs and medical devices. • Assisted in educating 10+ patients on safe use of Medtronic insulin pumps, glucose sensors, and monitoring apps. • Supported post-marketing surveillance by optimising an online complaint form, managing a shared mailbox, and translating complaint submissions, resulting in a more efficient reporting process. • Calculated company's market share in cardiovascular clinical sales for 2023-24, setting up future sales targets - Attended mandatory training in communications, time-management, and project management through interactive workshops. - Engaged in visits to the industrial sites of Alkaloid, followed by an introduction and overview of the drug/cosmetic/food product manufacturing process, R&D for existing and new products, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Regulatory Affairs. Acquired and improved technical skills: Microsoft Office, SAP Enterprise Software
Student course representative for third year Biomedical Science students in 2023-24, which includes representing and discussing students’ feedback and ideas at Student Staff Consultative Committee (SSCC) meetings throughout the academic year.
Final year research project generating a cell line for investigating the role of IL-15 in the tumour microenvironment. Performed laboratory techniques including cell culture, DNA maxi-prep, cell transfection, qPCR, and FACS. My responsibilites also involved attending lab meetings, maintaining a lab diary, writing weekly reports, extensive reading of relevant literature, and writing a 7,500 word dissertation. The project was finalised with a comprehensive presentation report.
