Transitioned to GovTech as I found it particularly effective, ambitious and stimulating in Ukraine’s context. Global GovTech Centre (GGTC) Kyiv, the world's second GovTech centre, focuses on strengthening GovTech in Ukraine and globally. In December 2024, it was co-founded by Ukraine's Ministry of Digital Transformation and the World Economic Forum, with support from Switzerland. In 90 days, and in the team of two, launched GovTech Lab Ukraine, the country's first open innovation programme where public and private sectors co-create GovTech solutions. For 8 months, ran programme delivery including close work with various Ukrainian ministries and government agencies, Ukrainian and international tech startups, key ecosystem stakeholders and experts. The process involved extremely high levels of adaptability, stakeholder liaison and problem solving — all within short timelines. Overall, GovTech Lab 1.0 received strong feedback from startups on relationship building with the government, "excellent" organisation and the experience of stepping into GovTech for the first time. GovTech Lab 2.0 will embed themed GovTech tracks as well as collaboration with private companies and foreign governments. In parallel, while delivering GovTech Lab, led the partnerships strategy with the notable focus on relationship building, stakeholder management and fundraising – mostly within very short timelines and high KPIs. Have significantly grown the centre's core partnership base ever since joining, which I continue to do in my current role.
Left my London job to help Ukraine in some way, starting from this project. Alinea is a Canadian-headquartered international development consultancy. One of its Ukraine-based advisory projects sought to strengthen the strategic communications capacity of the Government of Ukraine (the GoU) with the focus on tech. Identified product solutions for the GoU and the government donor in a complex environment. Within very short timelines, provided on-demand data analytics and product quality assurance before submitting to the GoU / donor, as well as stakeholder liaison, knowledge management, among others. In parallel, helped to grow the London HQ's business development opportunities in Ukraine.
Provided investigative support for confidential high-value and high-profile cases. Under tight deadlines, was the team’s key analyst of large volumes of complex information in French and Italian.
Transitioned from the UN to consulting to upskill and challenge myself. Received the offer to join in summer 2021. Wallbrook is a London-headquartered ESG advisory, due diligence and investigations consultancy for investment management, digital assets and technology clients. It helps organisations make ethical and informed decisions about who they invest, acquire or partner with. In 2023, Wallbrook was acquired by Anthesis Group, a global sustainability consultancy backed by Carlyle. Produced fast turnaround reports on reputational and legal risks covering EMEA, the US and Central Asia. Under very tight deadlines, was the team’s key analyst of large volumes of complex information in Ukrainian, Russian, French, Italian and Polish.
After 1 month of interning, was offered a consultant position where I developed the processes I coined during my internship. Co-authored the economic analysis chapter for a UN policy study. Closely assisted the Chief of Section with economic analysis, stakeholder engagement, high-level intergovernmental conferences and policy dialogues. Built relations between the UNECE team and the European Commission officials. Introduced public relations and fundraising strategies used by the team today. Lobbied diplomats and civil servants to fund UN work.
Joined to apply my knowledge in International Relations, Global Governance, Public Policy and the post-Soviet space coupled with curiosity about innovation and business competitiveness. The UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is a Geneva-based economic cooperation arm of the UN. I worked at the Economic Cooperation and Trade Division which supports states in economic policy governance. Supported intergovernmental and capacity building sessions on innovation and competitiveness for the post-Soviet region. Streamlined existing strategies in public relations and state fundraising. Offered consultancy after interning for 1 month.
Enhesa is a Brussels-headquartered consultancy focused on environmental, health and safety compliance. Consulted multinational corporations on bills and laws in Ukraine and Russia.
