In my role at IsSoftware, I have worked on a mix of projects. Where I have been working on assignments to end clients these are detailed in the next section. Projects I have worked on and been involved in include client requirements analysis, design & specification of solutions, technical documentation, software implementation, outsourced code reviews, code assurance and project assurance. In the Technical Bid and Design Management role I have worked solely for IsSoftware. As a consulting company IsSoftware will bid for work with a number of organisation and bodies. I am involved in the bids process from the analysis of requirements to the presentation of formal tender proposals. This has included meeting or speaking to the end client, the resourcing of partner companies, the identification of risks and proposals for mitigating the risks, identification of roles and responsibilities, the production of Clarification questions, the production of tender documentation, the production documentation for implementation and pre-worked test plans. This then enables us to complete the design and management of the formal tender proposal. I find that this range of roles provides a challenging environment that brings out the best in me.
In this role I was one of a small team of architects designing a highly complex solution for a business client bid. The bid required a full and in-depth high level designs almost all of the key components. The solution was for the next generation of hosting platform. Using all the latest toys from Vmware, Microsoft, Citrix, Cisco.
Providing technical architecture support to a number of project as well as support of bids
This Role is to provide support to the Accenture client in program of work. My role was to provided technical architecture and hands on development skills for a data migration project. I was responsible for providing the designs and implementations of components that would deliver the required data artefacts to a cloud base system. This role included client facing for reviewing client project requirements and capability needs, drafting business case, planning activities this included discussions with a range of stakeholders within the organisation for the production of build plans. Providing assistance to the solution architect and business owners.
