Web manager for the official website of the Dutch Myotonic Dystrophy Expertise Centre (mdexpertisecentrum.nl). Responsibilities included website maintenance, content updates, and responding to inquiries from both patients and healthcare professionals.
Youth healthcare physician for children aged 4–18, providing health and developmental assessments, often in cases of medical concerns or developmental delay. Additionally, I served as the appointed physician for 10 schools in the Heerlen/Parkstad region, including special education programs.

Graduation 23-10-2023. My PhD project focussed on clinical genetics and multisystem involvement in myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1). Apart from research activities, I provided clinical care to neuromuscular patients in the Neurology outpatient clinic.
