About

I am a legal and governance professional with broad-based experience spanning litigation and conveyancing, and extending into sectors such as plantation, property development, construction, investment, food & beverages, commercial operations and the latest one; education. My career has been shaped by a strong focus on institutional governance, regulatory compliance and legal risk management, underpinned by integrity, strategic judgment and attention to detail. Prior to my current role, I served as Legal Manager and functioned as the de facto General Counsel, overseeing legal matters across multiple business divisions. In that capacity, I led the drafting, negotiation and finalisation of complex commercial agreements, managed panel solicitors for land transactions and litigation and advised management on employment, governance and regulatory matters. I currently serve in a senior leadership role overseeing governance, secretarial and legal functions, acting as a principal advisor to the Board and Management. My work sits at the intersection of law, governance and risk, supporting sound decision-making, institutional accountability and long-term organisational sustainability. I am a firm believer that being a strong generalist is a strategic advantage. I thrive in environments that require adaptability, cross-functional collaboration and the ability to balance legal risk with commercial and policy realities.
