A technology business leader with 20+ years of experience and a proven track record of delivering high-impact software platforms across multiple industries — accounting, consumer-goods marketplaces, healthcare, oil and gas, legal, and aviation — in multi-cloud environments (GCP, AWS, and Azure). I currently lead the technology organization of the largest accounting firm in Brazil. Previously, I led the largest second-hand product marketplace in the country, where I also managed one of the top five AWS accounts in Brazil. Before that, I drove a successful technology transformation at Thomson Reuters Brazil, and earlier led a digitalization program for GE's manufacturing plants in Brazil through the adoption of Industry 4.0. Driven by challenges, I move comfortably across responsibilities that demand different skill sets. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, playing tennis, and dancing.
Lead OLX Marketplace engineering team.
Leading the Cross-Engineering organization responsible for system reliability, scalability, cloud efficiency and governance, security, mobile platforms, big data stack including tools/products ecosystem, governance and cross-company business metrics. Leading development teams at OLX Business Unit responsible for: (i) products monetization including signatures/one-time products, advertising, payments and (ii) customer journey success, including customer assistance, notification, mediations, satisfaction measurements.
- Create a diverse portfolio of digital solutions to solve critical problems in manufacturing and supply chain domains with impact of $20M in savings. - Focus on productivity improvement, achieving ~15% of productivity gains in several GE factories, exceeding targeted goals. Other benefits include 50% of production unplanned downtime reduction, 30% of equipment wear reduction, 15% of equipment usage reduction, real-time inventory control and logistics area reduction. - Identify key technical needs, develop new ideas and solutions - Work with local and global teams of stakeholders (Brazil, UK, US, Turkey, France and Germany) to establish a project pipeline and align expectations. - Lead cross-functional technical teams: software engineers, mobility researchers, data scientists. - Responsible for developing a system to assist and improve paddling sports training sessions.
