Nanuet, New York, United States
I am a freshman Student-Athlete at Binghamton University and a member of the NCAA Division I Men’s Swimming & Diving team. Balancing rigorous training with academics has strengthened my leadership, time management, and teamwork skills, while pushing me to perform at a high level both in and out of the pool. I am currently exploring my academic path and am excited to embrace new challenges as I grow in this environment. I have a strong interest in economics and am eager to deepen my understanding of how economic principles shape decision-making, industries, and global markets. My long-term goal is to pursue a career in the corporate sector or commercial real estate, applying economic insight to create meaningful impact and drive strategic outcomes. Beyond athletics and academics, I serve as a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), where I contribute to building community, promoting inclusion, and advocating for the student-athlete experience. I enjoy collaborating with teammates and peers on initiatives that strengthen our athletics department and support community service efforts. Being a Division I athlete has taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of consistent effort. These experiences have helped me build a strong work ethic, sharpen my organizational skills, and develop the ability to stay focused on long-term goals. I’m always open to connecting with others who share similar interests, whether in athletics, economics, or professional development. • Ensured the safety of patrons by consistently monitoring aquatic areas, enforcing safety protocols, and responding quickly and effectively to emergencies, utilizing certified CPR, first aid, and water rescue skills • Supported fellow lifeguards by promoting strong teamwork, assisting with hands-on training, and helping maintain consistent safety standards across the facility. Took on an active leadership role within the team for new guards During my time at this establishment, through clear communication and a customer-focused mindset, I contributed to a reliable and well-coordinated environment where both staff and guests felt supported and safe
As a volunteer swim instructor with Condors Swim Club, I worked with young swimmers to help them learn basic skills, improve their technique, and feel more confident in the water. I taught kids with ages ranging from 6 - 12 and at many different experience levels, making sure each swimmer got the support and encouragement they needed. This role helped me grow as a communicator and leader, and it gave me the chance to give back to the sport and community that have been such a big part of my life and support the next generation of swimmers.
