In this design-focused role as a Creative Lead at Essence Ventures, I developed innovative creative strategies and visual identities for our brand franchises. An active role focused on leading the overall creative direction of these entities to contribute to ambitious business targets and brand strategies, building a consistent and own-able experience across all touch points—experiential, digital, web, print, merchandise, etc.
I provided high-level executive support, managing the President's calendar, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. I acted as a key liaison between the President and internal/external stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and fostering strong relationships. Handled confidential and time-sensitive information with discretion, supporting decision-making processes and strategic initiatives across the organization. I developed a deep cross-functional network within the organization, building strong trusted rapport with c-suite executives across departments, collaborating to support initiatives to enhance business strategy and operational efficiency.
Working with celebrity entrepreneur Kevin O’Leary aka "Mr. Wonderful", from the Emmy-award winning primetime show Shark Tank, I managed and grew his social media presence by over 1M+ followers across platforms, driving engagement through tailored content and strategic campaigns. I developed and executed social media campaigns leveraging engaging photo and video content that solidified his off-air presence as a business leader, political and financial thought leader, and engaging personality, resonating with diverse audience segments. I handled the creative execution for content production, refining the visual strategy and delivering polished content to improve the aesthetics of his social media platforms. I spearheaded the crafting and development of compelling copy that captured his unique, straightforward yet comical personality from Shark Tank, aligning with his natural voice while enhancing his digital presence across all channels.
I spearheaded the brand's evolution by refining the visual strategy of this sustainable luxury leather goods and accessories brand, leading brand development as well as photo and video content production for web, social media, and email, ensuring an elevated and cohesive brand experience. I managed all digital marketing efforts, including social media and email campaigns, driving engagement and growth across platforms. This also includes supporting the rollout of major campaigns such as the brand's induction into the Nordstrom flagship store, Nordstrom.com, and various experiential marketplaces in New York City. I led the full-scale website redesign, building it in-house and developing imagery, copy, and brand positioning that aligned with the brand's sustainable luxury ethos. I played a key role in securing the brand’s involvement in national grant and incubator programs such as Macy's grant program and Stitch Fix's Elevate program, winning dollars and press features that further advanced the brand's growth and recognition.
Founded by award winning entrepreneur Daymond John, I drove the agency's design and creative execution for top producing social media marketing clients, from consumer product goods to celebrity brands, delivering high-impact visuals that aligned with brand objectives and marketing strategies. I developed and executed digital assets for websites, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing channels, ensuring cohesive brand identity and message and levering my expertise in digital marketing to support social media managers in producing industry leading results month-over-month. I collaborated closely with business development teams to support pitching and securing new clients, contributing creative insights and design solutions for proposals which led to the successful closing of new high-profit accounts. I maintained brand consistency across all digital platforms while driving innovation in design and creative direction to elevate client projects.
I executed all in-house digital marketing efforts for boutique jewelry brand, which included the emailing marketing, social media, influencer seeding. This also required providing support to the brand founder and wholesale manager to refine the brand's national wholesale and retail customer growth strategies. I executed all of our in-house creative production for all promotional and digital marketing efforts, elevating the visual identity of the brand's digital footprint through refined product photography and refreshed social media assets. I managed our external agency partners to execute and complete a full-scale website redesign, which developed a refreshed look and feel as well as refined our customer journey strategy to improve the user experience for both retail and wholesale clients.
