I primarily spend my time doing three things: 1. Consulting professionals, business owners and family offices identify issues and opportunities embedded within their financial affairs and then take responsibility for the integration of their advisors. I accomplish this through our proprietary software and extensive teams of support and technical staff here at Owens MacFadyen Group. 2. Supporting real estate executives through my consultancy, Saeculum Inc., that leverages my experience in research and transactions to bring together industry executives for highly specialized invite-only events. 3. Serving on the board of the Scarborough Business Association, advising on their real estate and high net-worth community engagement events. Additionally, I take great passion in serving at my local church and in mentoring young professionals within my community.

Our model mirrors the capabilities of a multi‑family office—providing institutional‑level depth, coordination, and strategic insight without the cost or complexity of maintaining these resources in‑house. In addition, I work with independent family offices on specific engagements, leveraging our firm's specialized toolkit and 30+ years of practical experience to address issues and opportunities that are unique to the most successful families in the nation.
We connect the top 20% of producers across a breadth of sub-disciplines within real estate in order to curate enhanced learning and executive networking. I founded this firm after realizing that most commercial real estate firms have a select few who disproportionately drive outcomes for their industry, community and company. While many intrinsically know that there may be benefit in networking or learning about related subdisciplines, they struggle to find rooms that are curated to their expertise and experience, so they make a trade off to preserve their most scarce resource, which is time. We solve this dilemma for Canada's leading commercial real estate executives, business owners and professionals.
Lead commercial real estate market analytics and intelligence initiatives on a local level. Oversee the gathering, evaluation, and interpretation of various economic and commercial real estate data points, then translate a synthesized interpretation into a variety of reports, analytics, and presentations. I have directly contributed to transactions ranging from one million dollars to over one hundred million dollars in price.
