My name is Isabelle Walker, and I am a junior at The University of Tennessee. I am studying to receive my Bachelors in Nursing with interests in critical care, oncology, and women's health. I utilize my want to help others and lead my community in various roles on campus. My involvement as an Undergraduate Laboratory Assistant, Recruitment Chair for Chi Omega fraternity, and as School Chair in Clinic Vols all help me advance my skills in scholarship, leadership, and service. My engagement in my community has made me extremely diligent in my work and will prepare me well for what the future has to hold. I am looking forward to what other opportunities I will achieve in the rest of my time at The University of Tennessee.
In this position, I am in charge of all volunteers at Fountain City Elementary School. I am responsible for keeping track of their volunteer hours and managing their attendance. I will collaborate with our president and other executive members in Clinic Vols to ensure proper attendance of our volunteers to Fountain City Elementary.
I am an elementary school nurse volunteer under Clinic Vols, a medical club designed to help elementary schools combat the school nursing shortage. This helps me prepare for clinicals in my nursing career and learn how to properly take care of patients.
