About

I am currently a first year Pre-Business student at Clemson University in South Carolina. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management and Minoring in both Political Science and English. With a strong academic foundation and the honor of receiving multiple merit-based scholarships, it is my hope to incorporate classical ethics into financial management with an ability to write rhetorically. It is my passion in life to spread classical knowledge through everything that I do. Beyond the classroom, I have a strong work ethic, and I am passionate about problem-solving. My experience in the CUBS Living Learning Community reflects my ability to network and create worthwhile connections, and my time spent as a Farm Manager at the Land & Sky Farms reflects my ability to lead with grit and hard work. I am a member of the Lyceum Scholars Program, a wonderful society dedicated to the love of classical learning and its application into current society. The program has, and continues to strengthen my ability to learn, write, understand texts, and think critically. As one of the children of a deceased Air Force Captain, I hope to help those around me and spread nothing but kindness to those going through similar experiences as me. I have been a part of multiple military children's events, such as the TAPS Youth Programs, and the Gary Sinise Foundation's Snowball Express. I am also the middle of five daughters, which has shaped my perspective on life deeply. Not only has growing up in a large family given me the soft skills to connect with people on a deeper level, but it has also given me a proclivity to empathy, teamwork, and conflict resolution. I am especially interested in opportunities related to volunteering, entrepreneurship, consulting, finance, and management. I would love to gain more technical writing skills, and I look forward to growing my skills through internships, mentorships, and hands-on learning experiences.
