Isabel is cofounder, creative director, and CEO. She is one of 12 graduates of the Brown-RISD dual degree program, holding degrees in political science and fashion design. As creative director, Isabel is a 3D designer, heads the textile manipulation dept, and oversees the Manila production facility. She leads strategic partnerships & identifies new areas to source materials. Isabel handles Toqa’s PR. She enjoys an outrageously thick smoothie, and when not climbing up a coconut tree, can be found giving extemporaneous dramatic readings to large groups of passerby.
Produced Carl Jan Cruz's first Paris Fashion Week showroom in Le Marais. Held meetings with buyers, European press, & attended Paris Fashion Week Shows.
• Critique & edit artistic content, administrate meetings, plan release parties, launches, music showcases, pop up galleries
• Sourced and priced fabric and trims for S15 RTW wovens collection & custom projects • Assisted workflow coordination of sample room and collection team during showtime • Research and development of S15 RTW and H&M collaboration show accessories • Created expense reports, mill and tannery archives, and attended company-wide development meetings
• Advised and instituted changes in corporate branding strategy via social media (Facebook, Twitter), restructuring webpage design, connecting with prominent individuals in the STEAM field, and other promotional material such as original video, and event planning in coordination with Brown University, RISD, MIT, and Harvard University
