Ever look at your life and wonder: Where am I in all of this? This is exactly what I help you navigate. My name is Iryna. As a psychotherapist and coach, I help Ukrainian and Russian-speaking individuals worldwide rediscover themselves, heal from trauma, silence their inner critic, and build the life they truly want to live. I practice online in both Ukrainian and Russian. My Journey It all started with books. At 19, I read half of Hermann Hesse’s The Glass Bead Game in one sitting, and that changed everything. Castaneda, Nietzsche, Yalom, Hollis... A single question ran through it all: How can I truly understand myself and become happier? I bring the depth of 8 years of my own personal therapy to my practice. I know firsthand what childhood trauma feels like and, more importantly, how to heal and move forward. My Approach Honest, gentle, and with a touch of humour. I practice Transactional Analysis (TA) and am a member of the International, European, and Ukrainian TA associations. I am currently in my final year of advanced training and certification with the European Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA). Alongside this, I completed my Counsellor training at Bournemouth and Poole College in England. My Core Practice Principles: 1. We are equals: In our sessions, your voice matters just as much as mine. 2. Absolute safety: I guarantee a confidential, secure space where you can be your authentic self without judgment. 3. A clear contract: We establish a precise framework of what we are working on and how you will measure your personal growth. Areas of Focus: Boundaries & Relationships Anxiety & Self-Esteem Trauma & Loss Silencing the Inner Critic Identity & Relocation (Finding yourself in a new country) A Little About Me I am a mother to a teenager who acts as my trigger, my teacher, and my motivator all at once. I love skiing, profound books, and thought-provoking films. I also have one persistent habit - using humour to navigate life’s complexities. How to Connect I offer a free 20-minute introductory session to see if we are a good fit. Feel free to send me a direct message here.
I support Ukrainians as well as Ukrainian and Russian-speaking expatriates worldwide in rebuilding their lives, mastering transitions, and overcoming identity crises through evidence-based psychotherapy and coaching. Going through my own relocation to the UK, I know firsthand the challenges of adaptation. My 8 years of personal therapy combined with advanced Transactional Analysis (TA) frameworks serve as my ultimate anchor, significantly easing this transition and helping me overcome everyday challenges. This lived experience allows me to deeply understand and relate to my clients' struggles. My Practice in Numbers & Standards: * 200+ hours of individual clinical practice * 50 hours of certified advanced training in TA Coaching * 8 years of intensive personal therapy * Double supervision: Continuous guidance from UK and Ukrainian TSTA/PTSTA experts * Professional Pathway: On a structured path toward BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) registration * Methodology: I practice within the Transactional Analysis (TA) modality - strictly adhering to ethical codes, absolute confidentiality, and clear contractual agreements.
My fundamental background in Economics (Management of Organizations) and Education (Degree with Honours) is reinforced by years of practical experience in business and teaching. This provides me with a unique, systemic understanding of the crisis processes my clients face today. How this experience enhances my current therapeutic practice: 1. Professional Burnout, Self-Employment, and Business Crises With an economic education and over 9 years of owning and managing a successful event agency (handling everything from private functions to large-scale public events), I deeply understand the "language of business." I know firsthand the realities of entrepreneurial responsibility, self-employment crises, imposter syndrome, leadership burnout, and the intense stress of changing careers through relocation. 2. Parent-Child Relationships, Separation, and Raising Teenagers My academic educational foundation is backed by extensive practical experience: 9 years of working with child psychology in the events sector, teaching at a private pre-school club, and spending 8 seasons as a youth camp counsellor. This allows me to grasp child development dynamics at all stages, analyze critical teenage phases, and help parents navigate the stages of emotional separation healthily. 3. Creative Release and Expressive Tools My extensive experience running creative workshops and interactive scientific shows is integrated into my practice through elements of art therapy. This helps clients bypass rational mental defenses and safely express complex emotions in a gentle, non-judgmental way. This comprehensive professional and entrepreneurial journey enables me to look at each client's situation systemically - not just through the lens of psychological theory, but with a deep appreciation for their real-world social, financial, and family environment.
