I’m a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) student at York University, discovering where structure meets creativity. I started enjoying accounting after taking it as an elective in Grade 11, and it quickly became something I genuinely wanted to pursue. What draws me to accounting is the clarity it brings, understanding what’s behind the numbers and using that insight to make decisions. I’ve built a strong foundation through coursework and a Financial Accounting certificate from Harvard. I naturally take initiative and communicate openly because I’ve learned the importance of staying ahead and keeping things moving. I like being the person who gets things started and ensures everything comes together. Beyond academics, I’ve worked on collaborative website projects and managed social media for student clubs, blending creativity with strategy. I also enjoy customer service because I love connecting with people and creating positive experiences. Fencing has shaped a big part of who I am, it’s taught me discipline, quick decision-making and how to stay focused under pressure. Outside of that, I enjoy music, photography and editing. I’m proficient in tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Canva, and QuickBooks and I’m always looking for ways to keep improving both technically and professionally. I’m currently looking for opportunities where I can continue learning, contribute meaningfully and grow into a well-rounded professional.
