Contributed to the master planning and development of Umm Lafina Island, leading design coordination, infrastructure planning, and sustainable urban development for a mixed-use expansion. Key responsibilities included master planning for urban growth, designing and execution of public realms, and delivering marine infrastructure solutions such as bridge connections linking the island to Abu Dhabi.
Construction of Expo 2020 Dubai was a large-scale, fast-tracked development delivered on a 4.38 km² site in Dubai South. The works included extensive site preparation, utilities, and transport infrastructure, followed by the construction of thematic districts, national pavilions, and landmark structures such as Al Wasl Plaza, Sustainability, Mobility, and Opportunity Pavilions. The project emphasized sustainability, modular construction, and legacy planning, with many buildings designed for post-Expo reuse as part of District 2020.
Project Description: The project included the construction of a two-lane, one-way box girder bridge extending 1.27 Km to enable direct flow of traffic from Dubai-Al Ain Road to Sheikh Zayed Road via the upper deck of the Financial Centre Road.
